You can delete your Velara: AI Astrology & Tarot account and all of its data at any time, either in the app or by e-mail. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Subscription first. Deleting your account — or deleting the app — does not
cancel a Velara+ subscription. Cancel it in the store before you delete your account:
iPhone — Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Velara;
Android — Google Play Store app → your profile icon → Payments &
subscriptions → Subscriptions → Velara.
01 Delete in the app
- Open Velara and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab and scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete my account in the dialog.
Your account and its data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.
02 Ask us by e-mail
If you can't open the app — for example, you no longer have the phone — send an e-mail to privacy@velarastro.app with the subject Delete my account:
- Write from the e-mail address on your account, or include it in the message. If you used Sign in with Apple with "Hide My Email", include the relay address shown in your Apple ID settings.
- We may ask you to confirm the request from that address, to make sure only you can delete your account.
- We delete the account and confirm by e-mail within 30 days at the latest — usually much sooner.
03 What is deleted
- Your account: e-mail address, Apple or Google sign-in link, password hash, display name and preferences (including your AI consent choice and notification settings).
- Your birth data and every chart calculated from it.
- People you saved, their birth data and charts, and compatibility reports.
- Velara AI chat history, dream descriptions, intentions and I Ching questions.
- Readings, interpretations, quiz results and all other history.
- Your device's push notification token and your subscription record on our servers.
04 What is kept, and for how long
- Backups — up to 7 days. Copies in our disaster-recovery backups are deleted automatically within 7 days. Backups are used only to restore the whole system after a failure; a deleted account is never restored individually.
- Usage statistics. In-app usage events and technical AI usage records (feature, size, cost) are kept only in a form that is no longer linked to you.
- Purchase records. Apple or Google keep your purchase history under their own policies and tax law. RevenueCat keeps the purchase history of a random account identifier (not your name or e-mail address) as a financial record.
- Your e-mails to us. Messages you sent to our support or privacy addresses are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
05 Delete only some data
- Delete a saved person — and their compatibility reports — in Charts of Your People.
- Stop sending anything to the AI provider with the AI features switch in Profile.
- For anything else, e-mail privacy@velarastro.app and tell us what you'd like deleted.
